    Let's read Drum Dream Girl and then learn how to raise our voices in a workshop about freedom songs with a teaching artist from the Alliance Theatre.

    Today is all about powerful words: We’ll make protest signs in morning meeting, play vocabulary games and go to the mountains to learn how to break down words and read them.

    Hear about how young people fought for freedom by reading Sit In by Andrea Davis Pinkney, then write the words to your own freedom song to raise your voice for what’s right.
