Babies come into the world ready to connect and all babies communicate. Adults may not recognize their communication attempts, but all babies have a variety of behaviors they use to communicate their feelings, needs, and wants. As babies develop, so do their ways of communicating. This is version of the How Babies Communicate Quick Reference Guide that can be used for printing posters to display on units. It reviews how babies communicate by age from birth to five years old.
