Letter Formation: Paths of Motion
As young children begin learning to write letters, it’s crucial that they learn the most efficient way to write these letters so that they may start developing handwriting fluency. Explicitly teach and model the proper “paths of motion” using clear, concise language (slant, down, around, over, across, curve) that is easy for children to understand and remember.
